We’ve tried a variety of WORD documents on several different windows 7 and 10 computers in office and a 1 page document previews as 1 page but then prints into two pages to a variety of printers and in acrobat and bluebeam. Our office standard font is Secca Standard Lte.
When i change the document to Arial it prints to correctly to one page. Based from the information that you’ve provided, the issue is not happening when you are using the default font of Office. There is a high possibility that the font is in conflict with the Word app causing it to print differently in Preview. We suggest contacting the font’s provider to check if there are available updates and verify its compatibility.
The document prints correctly on all those printers from Word I check with the font provider, received new copies of the fonts, uninstalled, restarted, reinstalled, restarted and even made a new word doc with the new Secca fonts and it still printed one page onto 2 pages in Acrobat and hard copy.

The way in which Word lays out a document is based on information provided by the printer driver so it would appear that in the case of the Secca Standard Lte font, there is some mismatch between the information that the printer is providing to Word and the way in which it actually prints that font. The printer manufacturer may have an updated driver that will overcome the problem.
